I have had more than one client burst into tears at the thought.  Why do they cry, you ask?  Well, the real estate industry has done a bang-up job of convincing people that real estate is a ‘good investment’ rather than your home.  We have been coached to look at a property, especially our own, as a thing with monetary and not spiritual value.  This is a false dichotomy!

Where do we go when someone dies?  Home.  Where do we go after a breakup? Home.  Where do we go when we lose a job?  Home.  Where do we go when we want to binge-watch that new series on Netflix?  Home.  WE GO HOME… and yet… we hear, “You shouldn’t do anything too bold because of resale value – you’ll never get your money back.” Balderdash. Known from the Swedish TV series “Husdrömmar” S2;A8 This floating house was the first larger project we designed and built with our unique sandwich panel building system. An excellent test platform! Built in 2014, Its been through several hurricane force winds with no signs of structural stress and is surpisingly quiet when the wind is howling in the harbour!

This summer house was built in 8 modules that were lifted in place in one day and finished on site with our crew in a few months.

This house for a young couple was the first bigger house we did in the new factory. 4 modules installed in a few hours plus the studio was built with 2 truck boxes purchased by the client and finished out by our crew on site. Burnt wood fasad and super energy efficient!

We built 3 houses in Sandby and 4 houses in Strängnäs in a one year time frame, our most prolific production period from the factory in Malmö. It went like on rails! (as we say in Swenglish)
